About the event

Abanindranath Tagore, the pioneer of the Bengal School of Art, revolutionized Indian painting by blending indigenous styles with Mughal, Rajput, and Japanese influences. Known for his delicate watercolor washes, his works evoke a dreamlike quality, rich in nostalgia and serenity. This workshop explores his signature technique—soft, layered washes, ethereal compositions, and a masterful play of light and shadow.
